Presider: God invites us to the bountiful banquet where people from all tribes, nations, and tongues will gather at the Lord’s table. We recognize that God calls us into a community of believers and doers. With confidence in this invitation, we offer our concerns to the Lord

6. That parents budget time and resources to improve family communication, especially at meal time without electronics, we pray...
7. That the elderly may reach out to each other to alleviate loneliness and encourage others to participate in living, we pray...

Presider: Father, Creator God, help us to long for the Banquet prepared in our daily lives. Inspire us to be aware of those without food and work for ways of providing them with nourishment of body and an invitation to join our Community of care and worship. We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus, who lives with you in the unity of the Spirit, now and forever.
